Vancouver Residence

Music and fishing are the key themes in this house, buoyed by a large collection of NW Native American art. It is an open, light and spacious home with a stunning backyard that plays a large part in the feel of the house. This project involved taking static, insular room arrangements and reorienting them, refreshing the furnishings to reestablish the exuberant indoor outdoor relationship. The living room opens to the music room beyond, looking outward to the backyard and fireplace. The family room is oriented inward, warm and comfortable in its adjacency to the kitchen
